NEWSFLASH!!!
PREMIER STYLE'S FIRST PUP TO RACE, STETSON DONNA, WINS SIX CITY RACES IN A ROW, CULMINATING IN TAKING OUT THE PRESTIGIOUS GROUP ONE CLASSIC, THE LAURELS, AT SANDOWN!! SHE IS ONLY TWENTY ONE MONTHS OLD!
Has any other young sire achieved this sort of accolade so early in his career?
PREMIER REBEL MAKES IT TWO FROM TWO
Another of Premeir Styles's babies - this time out of Bell Pepper (Larkhill Jo x Steffi Grace) has started her race career in fine style. Premier rebel won her first start at the Gardens in a good time and has followed that up with another good win at the same venue.
Premier Style is a magnificent tall, leggy black dog by boom import sire premier Fantasy and out of the super brood Stunning Style (every pup out of SS to hit the track has won races.)
Style showed his freakish ability early on with amazing trial times and showed our faith was well placed when he won his debutante race at Warragul in close to BON time.
Disaster struck in the final , though, when Style was dragged down from behind and ended up tearing the ligament completely off the front of his hock.
It was thought his career was over, then and there.
But months of care and doctoring saw him back in work, again publically trialling the house down - 21.21 at Tooradin on a very heavy track in winter, 24.70 first look at Sale, 25.39 first look at Geelong, 23.30 first post to post at Sandown, 29.61 over the 500...........
First up, he won at Warragul in 24 dead, BON and the decision was made to send him to Kel Greenough as I did not want to hold the dog back in any way.
After a few weeks, Kel stated that " THIS DOG IS ONE OF THE FASTEST DOGS IN THE COUNTRY!"
He trialled 29.60 odd on a trial day at Traralogon and then had a start in a grade 5 there.
Going down the back, he was fourteen lengths in front but something went amiss and he struggled to finish, cramping very badly in the catching pen. Even so, he still won by six lengths!
Style came home after that, it seemed the old injury was causing compensationary injuries on his other hind leg.
Three month's spell and I put him back in to work - the dog was going brilliantly - 14.10 post to post and 23.90 at Warragul, 22.99 post to post at Traralgon.
He won his first start back in blistering time at Warragul - 23.84 (the fifth fastest time of the year) defeating Darren Macdonald's then very promising Black Houdini.
But a start in the Geelong Cup heats saw the injury re occur so the decision was made to finally retire the boy.
Because of this EXTREME ability, we decided to register him as a stud dog and put him over two of our own very good bitches.
Bell Pepper (Larkhill Jo x Steffi Grace ) had a litter in March and Silent Flower (Go Wild Teddy x Ashlee Jeanine) had a litter a week later. Eight very healthy , bouncy pups each!
We can't wait to see if they have inherited their dad's ability.
PREMIER REBEL MAKES IT TWO RUNS FOR TWO WINS.
Another talented Premier Style pup is the NSWer Premier Rebel who has caught the eye with two impressive wins from two starts. She is out of Bell Pepper.
As of the 1st January 2012 his stud fee with be $550 incl GST. Refund less $100 or a free return for one or no pups. Frozen semen only.
*****NEWSFLASH! ******
PREMIER STYLE'S FIRST PUPS TO RACE!
The Silent Flower litter, the first litter by Premier Style (Jimmy)has just started to hit the track with exciting results! In particular STETSON DONNA (bred by Siyan, owned and trained by Peter Dundon) has already displayed extraordinary potential. At only twenty one months of age she has already had three wins at the Meadows and is a FINALIST FOR THE GROUP TWO LAURELS after winning a tough heat at Sandown yesterday!
Hopefully this classy pup is a sign of things to come from Premier Style progeny. We have two bitches here out of Bell Pepper (Larkhill Jo x Steffi Grace) who are shaping up very nicely and we are just in the middle of choosing another couple of girls to add to his harem!!
We have also had an enquiry from Ireland, with a successful breeder wanting to get some of his vials over there!
Please let us know how your Jimmy pups are going!
